Old Milwaukee News Stories. Well, just the ridiculous ones. |
I’m taking a step away from funny news for the day to let you guys know of a very cool event coming up this weekend in downtown Milwaukee.
Historic Milwaukee, Inc is hosting their second annual “Doors Open Milwaukee” on September 22nd and 23rd. They, along with their army of volunteers, have managed to convince over 100 buildings in the downtown area to open their doors for the public to tour for FREE.
Check out their website to see a full listing of all the buildings that are open, along with the over 40 in-depth tours they are also offering.

It’s a great event for families, history-buffs, architect nerds, and people who just love Milwaukee. I attended last year, and this year I will be both attending again, and volunteering. How often can you get into the lower floors of the Bradley Center, the very top floor of the US Bank building, or see the inside of the Northwestern Mutual building?
In Milwaukee? Check out this cool Open Door event.
Reblogging myself cause it’s easier.
